Our Curriculum

At our school, we believe in providing a strong foundation for our students. Our curriculum includes academic basics such as the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors, taught in both English and Spanish. We focus on teaching other basic Spanish vocabulary and daily life skills. Our goal is to prepare children for a smooth transition to kindergarten and beyond.

Discipline
Policy

Our discipline policy emphasizes developmentally appropriate practices that promote positive behavior and emotional growth. We prioritize teaching over punitive measures, using strategies like modeling politeness, implementing breathing techniques for emotional regulation, and fostering empathy through storytelling and cooperative activities. Timeouts and harsh discipline are not permitted; instead, we focus on conflict resolution through guided problem-solving and restorative practices. We maintain open communication with families to reinforce these approaches at home, creating a nurturing environment where children learn to express themselves respectfully and compassionately.

Philosophy

At our play-based childcare facility, we believe that learning should be a joyful and engaging experience. Our philosophy centers on fostering a love for learning through play where children can explore, discover, and develop essential skills. We focus on teaching foundational concepts and preparing children for transitional kindergarten (TK) while nurturing their emotional development. By creating a supportive and stimulating environment, we empower children to grow into confident, curious, and compassionate individuals.
